Cody Baldwin


Cody Baldwin, MBA, PMP, CSM is an assistant professor of business management at Brigham Young University-Hawaii and currently teaches within the Supply Chain and Operations track.  His areas of expertise include project management, process improvement, technology leadership, and business analytics.

Prior to joining the faculty of BYU-Hawaii, Mr. Baldwin worked at HP, where he was a Senior Project Manager leading several big data and analytics projects.  While there, he managed teams working across 6 countries and 3 continents and oversaw budgeting and planning activities for a multi-million dollar analytics portfolio.

Mr. Baldwin also spent several years consulting agencies within the US government about how to better manage their IT programs and projects.  While in that capacity, he supported 100s of projects with over $3 billion in budgets, developed metrics and scorecards to help improve service delivery to customers, and led process improvement initiatives that resulted in less waste and fewer inefficiencies. 

Mr. Baldwin received his MBA with a concentration in Information Systems and Technology from Virginia Tech and his Bachelors of Science in Information Systems and Operations Management from George Mason University (GMU).  He graduated Magna Cum Laude and received the “Excellence in Major” award at GMU.

Mr. Baldwin is married to Maley Baldwin and they have two beautiful daughters.  They met in northern Virginia and were married in the Washington DC Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Mr. Baldwin is also a proud Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts of America program.
