Public management is concerned with how to manage government or non-profit organizations. A public management minor combines the management skills from business and the understanding of government from political science, and should provide students with added skills and knowledge to help them acquire meaningful employment within the public sector. A minor in public management includes a total of 18 semester hours, with no more than 6 used in the student's major.
